    Free Fall

Filed under: Love and Intimacy by MiSs LiLy

    by Tara Simms

We all have our own ideas on what love is and the difference between being IN LOVE and LOVING someone. This is my definition of what it means to fall in love. Maybe this will make it easier to understand why some people are afraid to fall.

    Standing on the edge
    Discovering fears deep inside
The swirling abyss lies before me.
    Beckoning,
    Taunting,
    Calling my name.

    Slowly moving forward,
Hanging on with both hands, my eyes closed.
Afraid to slip, Afraid to see.
A leap of faith: Plunging into the unknown.
    Total release.

    Complete surrender.
    Flying free.
    Falling fast.
    No holding back.
Knowing you’ll be there to catch me.

    1. Nice poem. I wish I could have somebody to catch me whenever im fall. Seem that the only one can do so is me myself! Then I must say LOVE IS MYSELF! More or less!
