Who’s behind this?

The person behind this is better known as Glen aka TheChief. He has being on the internet since the early 90′s, back before Google, Yahoo!, YouTube and even before Internet Explorer, Netscape and HTML tables. Whilst slaving away in his day job as an online producer, he quietly goes about building Pricelesspartner.com in his tiny spare bedroom-slash-home office here in Australia.

What I have to say.

Design wise, I do found there are some flaws or glitches, where the site seems to be broken while viewing it via Firefox 2.0.x. everything seems to be fine on IE 7.0. The admin should have taken some measures to state it somewhere like in the footer for compatible browser to increase the credibility.

Site color scheme were rather dim which instead of the ordinary pink or red in color, Glen choose to use a mixture of dark orange, pale blue and also white. However I do find it rather pleasing to the eye, especially if you’re browsing around for hours in search of that true love of your life.

Navigation wise was pretty straight forward and not cluttered, since I manage to move around without much trouble. I do love the tag cloud display in the sidebar since it reflects the main interest for most of the site users. This way, I can be sure before joining, whether PricelessPartner.com is really the place for me to be.

What amazed me is the way Glen handles spammers and how strict he applies the site legislation in order to make sure everybody is having a peace of mind without worrying their personal information getting leak. I believe this element is essential in every dating site, even though it is free.

Overall, I can say that PricelessPartner.com is a cool place to hang around, whilst having quite an active forum. Due to it beta stage, there is still more room to improve and added features can be implement for it to stand out from the crowd out there.

Kudos to Glen for the wonderful job he’s done so far.

Hooo..hoooo..it’s Christmas again. Year of 2006 is near to the end, means New Year of 2007 is on the way the beginning of new hopes for life. How fast times are running up – without I realize, its December again the most awaiting month for everyone. Yeahh end of the year sales is everywhere, and for all shop-holic out there, this is a very, very perfect times to shop all the goodies you’ve been desires for all the year and you can get all of it with an amazing prizes.

Well, to me nothing much on my mind no shopping or partying, just hoping to have a simple and meaningful celebration for both Christmas and New Year. Actually, I felt a little bit disappointed because I can’t spend end of year festive with my family and it’s been a year I didn’t going back to Sarawak but I really hope they do understand why and I promise to make it next year. I really miss all of them…a lot.

Well, last year I’d spent my Christmas and New Year together with my loves one at Genting Highland and it’s been a very wonderful moment in our memories even it’s only the two of us. But, this year we don’t have any plan to go anywhere you know money matter J but there’s a big surprise from my boyfriend family because they will coming to Penang for Christmas and New Year. So, it will be a great time for all of us and I can’t wait for that time to come seems like me and my boyfriend not lonely as usual and I hope everything will go smoothly as there’s nothing much to prepare because both of us quite busy for next year preparation.

What make me excited when Christmas and New Year is coming? Hohoho the sound of Christmas songs always remind me to my Mums, tasty holiday recipes she cooks. It’s been always a very busy time when month of December is coming shopping, Christmas and New Year preparation, cookies and cakes making, family gathering, house cleaning and the most important thing is Christmas gift hahahaa It was a very happy time when my family gathers together when the festive is coming especially during the Christmas and New Year eves a time for family, fun, gathering and holiday meals. A time for ornaments, singing carolers, gifts and twinkling lights of Christmas tree.

Well, what I’ve always wanted for Christmas and New Year is I hope one day I could bring my family to celebrate this meaningful festive overseas. You know I really dream to feel the fallen snow and really desire to know how other countries celebrate their Christmas and New Year. It must be different right? Huhuhuhu I can’t wait for the time to come. Even here in Malaysia don’t have snow, tasty turkey or beautiful Santa; it doesn’t mean I regret to be Malaysian. There’re many type of festive here and very glad because I can feel the celebration all of them Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Hari Raya and many more.

Even though this year maybe not the best Christmas and New Year I’ve ever had but I hope this coming New Year will give me new hopes to success and inspire me to work harder than before to make my dreams come true..Ahaaaks…;)

~ Women are more intuitive than man. Entire books have been written on the subject. Songs have been sung about it. Movies have been made around it. However, some research does suggest that women pay more attention to detail than men do. ~ Men blame themselves more than women do. It’s not true at all you think they really down in the dumps and counting on when he didn’t get the promotion? Bet me, they’re not! Sorry. Even men can give more detailed explanations, they often choose not to, preferring to be efficient in their communication rather than exhaustive. ~ Men don’t touch others as much as women do. This is absolutely wrong. It seems that men are touchy, feely people, too. Research has proven that men are more likely to touch people than women, whether male or female. When in men company, it’s by backslapping or handshaking. In female company, it’s by doing gentlemanly acts like helping women in and out of cars or leading them through a doorway. Research shows that men touched women four times more often than women touched men. ~ Men don’t listen as well as women. They do listen. Who says not? You’re pouring your heart out to him and his face remains impassive. Also, we all know that women’s speech is much more animated and their body language more distinct, making them more interesting and engaging. Add to that the fact that women are more likely to cry or have are quaver in their voice when talking about something bad, and it’s no wonder you think men are such cold creeps. Ahhaaahrghh .

~ Men ask more questions than women. Nope. Surely you’re realized by now that virtually all men are Mr Know-it-Alls. So, if they know everything, why must they ask questions? Right? Asking question mean they’re not in the know about something, which would be utterly devastating to their self-esteem. Therefore, they remain silently ignorant unless they’re pretty sure no one around them the answer anyway. That’s why male scientist don’t mind asking questions about the origins of the universe, but refuse to call up their mothers for the family’s chicken curry recipe.

~ Men are as anxious to talk about safe sex and STDs. Sorry to disappointed, but although men may be concerned about safe sex and STDs, they are much less likely to bring up the subject. In her book He Says, She Says professor Lillian Glass says that 70 percent of women (compared to 30 percent of men) were the first to bring up a problem including such topics as birth control and HIV testing. Although men are as aware as women about the dangers about unprotected sex and STDs, they are also more embarrassed when it comes to talking about it. So, they just let women to bring them up before offering any ideas of their own.

~ Men laugh at the same things women do. Whatever gave women the idea that men found gynecological jokes funny, I don’t know. Men are men, for crying out loud which part of that sentence do you not get? Research shows that while women jokes tend to be more focused on word play and puns; men’s jokes are more sarcastic and abrasive than women’s. When it comes to laughter, men and women do not see eye-to-eye. So, leave your penile dysfunction gags and soiled pad anecdotes alone when around the opposite sex, please.
