Go to a book signing or a reading together. Older people often appreciate the written word better than some of the younger generations, so chances are if you are going out with someone your age and you are a senior, that you would both enjoy a book signing or reading together. Why not just visit a new book store and browse the shelves together? This can be a great time and you can both get something new that you really like.

Why not go out and see a movie? There is not a more classic date than a dinner and a movie and you never get too old to take in a good flick. Now they have those movie theatre’’s that actually serve you food while you watch the movie, allowing you to do dinner and a movie at the same time! Who would have ever thought that dinner and a movie could be so convenient?

As you can see, as a senior you don'’t have to slow down and you don'’t have to make date choices that reflect your age. When you get older you still want to have a good time, taking someone out to see the town, so don'’t assume that you can'’t still have a good time. It doesn'’t matter how much time has passed, when you go out you are always looking to have as good a time as possible!

Halloween Party Food Ideas for Kids

Halloween is a great time to host a kid’’s party. After all, what child doesn'’t like Halloween? One of the most enjoyable aspects of Halloween is the food. There are hundreds of recipes that have been specifically created for this spooky holiday. The following ideas will help you plan the yummiest menu possible.

Serve a minimum of sweet treats. You don'’t want your guests suffering from ‘’sugar overload'’ during the party. To celebrate the occasion, serve chicken fingers with a blood (any red dipping sauce.) If you prepare them from scratch, it’’s not hard to make them resembling the more human variety. Add a sliced almond for the finger nail for a realistic approach.

Another dish to try is to add equal parts red, blue, and yellow food color to spaghetti after it’’s been cooked so it turns an ugly brownish color. Serve with a green pesto sauce and call it snakes in the swamp.

Make goofy eyeball meatballs. Shape seasoned ground meat into an oval with a flat top and bottom, bake until done. Cut a round circle out of mozzarella cheese about the size of a half dollar or one inch in diameter. Cut grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes into three slices. Cut black olives in half. Assemble the goofy eyeballs by placing a slice of cheese on the meatball, then a slice of tomato on the cheese and top with a black olive half. Vary the placement of the toppings so the eyeballs are looking in different directions.

If you will be serving punch, why not serve the ghoulish variety? Simply make your favorite punch and add a few ghoul hands. To make these hands, fill non-powdered rubber gloves with cranberry or other red juice. (Don'’t overfill, the fingers of the glove should still move easily.)
Close gloves tightly with rubber bands and freeze flat on cookie sheets, which have been lined with paper towels. When ready to serve, open gloves with scissors and add to punch. You may want to break off one or two fingers and add them separately.

A fun punch can be with one quart of lime drink, one quart of lemon lime soda and one cup of lime sherbet. The sherbet should be added right before serving. Stir so the sherbet foams up a bit with the soda. Dust the foam lightly with cocoa powder to resemble dirt.

It’’s not a good idea to use dry ice in your punch to make it smoke. Curious hands may try to touch the dry ice resulting in freezer burn. Instead place the dry ice in containers out of reach, such as the back of a table and you'’ll still have the atmosphere of the smoky fog without the worry of accidents.

Keep the food simple and familiar but with a twist. Rename favorites in the Halloween theme. Use food coloring in blues, greens, and browns to alter the way a dish looks. Or use familiar food in unfamiliar ways. For example blanch a cauliflower head, break apart and then reassemble (this makes the cauliflower easier to serve) cover the cauliflower with ranch dressing then using ketchup in a squeeze bottle outline each floret with the ketchup so it looks like a brain.

Muscle Building Nutrition

The body needs nutrition just like anyone else’’s. However, it is key to get the right kind of nutrition for it, the proper muscle building nutrition.

As you go on about your exercising, it will mean virtually nothing if you'’re not maintaining your body in the correct way. By eating the right things, and having good nutritional choices, you'’re making the best use of this time exercising.

The types of foods you eat, and what they contain in them is very important to your muscle building. Any food you eat will contain carbohydrates, fat, and protein.

Muscle will make you heavier, but fat is not something you should desire.

Try to eat less fatty foods, about 20% total. The more protein you consume, the better your workouts will go.

The general standard is 20-40-40.

This means that you should consume about 20 percent of fat, and 40 percent of carbohydrates and protein to ensure that you are maintaining your nutritional standards.

Carbohydrates come from food that is very good for you, including vegetables, oatmeal, and potatoes. This should not be confused with the carbohydrates you can get from sugary treats or unhealthy, fattening foods and desserts.

When it comes to which fatty foods to avoid, you should have no problem steering clear. If it is not something you think you should eat, then you probably should not be eating it. Loading up on your protein and health foods should give you a good idea of what not to eat.

Muscle building nutrition does not solely involve the foods that you eat. How you eat those foods is also very important.

Consume regular meals per day, up to four on average. This means that instead of eating bits of foods all day, or even large quantities of foods all day, you should be keeping a balanced nutrition.

There is a way to accomplish your physical goals, as well as decreasing your fat, and that is by staying on top of what you eat.

By staying healthy and eating regularly, you can keep up your muscle building nutrition in an excellent way. Always eat breakfast, and make sure to consume healthy fruits and vegetables with each meal that you consume.

Although many people feel alone when they discover their spouse has had an affair, they are not alone in terms of the shear numbers of affairs that are going on.

Below are some statistics that will show how common marital affairs are becoming.

Social Class

Adultery does not know how to distinguish between social classes. It does not care who you are, what your income is, where you live, where you work or any other factor.

Around 60% of adulterers are middle class wage earners, and of those, 40% are women. The most common age bracket of people having affairs are between 25 and 39, which also coincides with the highest demographic of divorcees.

Common Traits of an Affair

Some things that are common are that among cheating spouses, most only knew their spouse for 2 years or less prior to marriage, and they have been married for less than 3 years. This is not to say that it is uncommon to find couples who have been married for more than 25 years to have one spouse having an affair.

Gender Disparity

For some reason, we always assume that men are the cheaters. While the statistics do lean that way, they are much closer than you may think. In fact, 22% of men and 14% of women admit to having an affair. Women are closing the gap on cheating spouses.

The importance of paying attention is in the statistics. Of married women, 70% never knew that their husband was cheating. Of married men, 54% never knew their wife was having an affair.

Length of an Affair

Affairs affect 1 in every 3 couples. That’’s 33%! But how long does an affair last?

* 10% of affairs last 1 day
* 10% last more than 1 day, but less than 1 month
* 50% last more than 1 month, but less than 1 year
* 40% last more than 2 years!

What is most interesting is that the divorce rate for those who marry their lover is 75%! This is because affairs lack the necessary emotion to sustain anything long term. They ignore faults between the two parties which gives off a false feeling of love.

Work Place Affairs

Some studies suggest that 2 out of 3 women and 3 out of 4 men admit they have sexual thoughts about co-workers. While a thought doesn'’t always lead to an affair, 75% of men and 65% of women admit to having sex with someone they work with.

The Best Tricep Exercises To Build Muscle

The most effective tricep exercises to build muscle

Much like there was for biceps, there are two tricep exercises that are above the rest in terms of effective muscle building stimulation.

If you want bigger, fuller looking arms, work more to build muscle on your triceps.

Triceps (3-headed) make up more of your arm than do biceps (2-headed). Most people are so preoccupied with biceps training that they forget about triceps.

Building more muscle on your triceps mean bigger arms.

Lying tricep extensions

Place a curl bar at the head of a bench. Sit down, grab the bar with an overhand, narrow grip, and lie down on your back, pushing the weight up and straight over your chest. Bend at the elbows lowering the weight behind your head.

With an explosive motion, push the weight back over your head until your arms are fully extended with the weight above your chest.

When you complete your reps, use your momentum to rock your body up and stand up to put the bar back on the edge of the bench.

This is probably the most effective tricep exercise you can do. You can use very heavy weight with these, increasing the overload factor to the triceps. Use a curved curl bar for these.

There are a couple of points to keep in mind.

When you lower the weight, bring it past your forehead and down towards the middle of your head.

Bringing the bar to your forehead will create unwanted pressure and stress on your elbows.

After you slowly lower the weight towards the back of your head, power the weight back up forcefully, extending and locking your arms, contracting your triceps.

Also, once you have completed these for your set of 4-6 reps, do not bother doing close-grip bench presses immediately after, using the same bar and weight.

Once you have fatigued the triceps on your set, it is pointless to try and do a few reps of close-grips at a lighter weight than you can handle when doing regular close-grips. Save your energy.

Close-grip bench presses

This is the second of two extremely effective tricep exercises.

This is a definite muscle builder for the triceps. It is performed just like a regular bench press except your hands are 6-8 inches apart from one another.

You lower the weight to your chest like a regular bench press, and then forcefully push the weight up, locking your arms and contracting your triceps.

Do not grip with a too-narrow grip of this will definitely cause some pain to your wrists.

Regular grip bench press also works the triceps, but when you bring your hands closer together, more overload is directed to the triceps.

Cable tricep pushdowns

Reach up, grab the bar, and push the bar down towards your thighs.

Stand with a sturdy foundation that will allow you to lean into the movement. Now bend at the elbows and control the weight up until the bar is by your chin.

With an explosive motion, push the weight back down until your elbows lock, fully contracting the triceps. Repeat thisuntil you complete your reps.

These are a great tricep exercise, designed to hit the triceps with serious overload. Most people can do these with more weight than they think they can.

When doing these, lean forward a bit, lean into the weight. This will keep you more balanced and will also allow you to handle more weight than standing straight up.

Also, when bringing the weight up, allow the bar and your arms to come up a bit more than parallel to the floor.

Allow the bar to come up to about shoulder level. The reason behind this is to increase the range of motion and to also decrease the stress on the elbows.

Really exaggerate locking the arms and squeezing the triceps when you bring the weight down.

These are 3 of the best muscle building tricep exercises you can use if you want to build muscle in your arms.

Baby clothing is usually sized according to the age of the baby. My baby boy has already grown out of his 0-3 months clothes and he is only one month old.

When buying baby clothes for a newborn, try buying the 3-6 months size and you'’ll stand out from the crowd that is buying clothes the baby will only be able to wear once. Trust me, the mother will thank you later when your clothes are the only ones that fit her newborn.

Online Tip: Most places you shop online will have a section where you choose the size of the clothes. If they don'’t, then do not purchase there.

Gender

If you are trying to buy baby clothes, then we sincerely hope you are shopping for a girl. Why? Options and quality. For some reason designers have created a lot more baby girl clothing than baby boy clothing. If you don'’t believe me, try going to Target and tell me if you see more pink or more blue?

The quality of baby girl clothing is also better than baby boy clothing, probably due to the sheer quantity of baby girl clothing. If you are looking for unique baby clothes, you'’ll have a much easier time if you'’re shopping for a girl.

Price

Baby clothing prices fluctuate wildly depending on the quality and name brand recognition. I'’ve never been a huge fan of paying for the name brand but sometimes paying more is worth it.

Remember not to buy all of your baby clothes before the baby is born. Doctors are not 100% accurate in determining the sex of a child–it’’s no fun to take back all of those cute clothes after being surprised with a boy when you thought you were having a girl. Try buying gender neutral clothes if you are buying for someone who hasn'’t told you the sex of the baby.

It is good to remember that babies grow extremely fast, another reason not to buy tons of clothes before the baby is born (you could be stuck with a bunch of clothes that don'’t fit).

Babies make messes often. You might be surprised how often they spit up on their brand new clothes (babies are more prone to spit up if they are wearing your favorite outfit). If you'’re on a budget, don'’t spend all of your money on something that will be getting dirty fast.

Online Tip: Watch out for shipping prices! Some places charge as much as $5.00 per item. You can find special deals where shipping is free (though you usually have to spend a fair amount before getting these deals).
