Shopping for baby clothing can be harder than you think, especially if you'’re shopping for someone else’’s baby. Hopefully this article will give you a few ideas on how to buy baby clothes. We'’ll also throw in a few tips about buying baby clothes online.
Size
Baby clothing is usually sized according to the age of the baby. The sizes are as follows: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, etc. These age groups can sometimes be a problem because you may have a bigger or smaller baby than normal. My baby boy has already grown out of his 0-3 months clothes and he is only one month old.
When buying baby clothes for a newborn, try buying the 3-6 months size and you'’ll stand out from the crowd that is buying clothes the baby will only be able to wear once. Trust me, the mother will thank you later when your clothes are the only ones that fit her newborn.
Online Tip: Most places you shop online will have a section where you choose the size of the clothes. If they don'’t, then do not purchase there.
Gender
If you are trying to buy baby clothes, then we sincerely hope you are shopping for a girl. Why? Options and quality. For some reason designers have created a lot more baby girl clothing than baby boy clothing. If you don'’t believe me, try going to Target and tell me if you see more pink or more blue?
The quality of baby girl clothing is also better than baby boy clothing, probably due to the sheer quantity of baby girl clothing. If you are looking for unique baby clothes, you'’ll have a much easier time if you'’re shopping for a girl.
Online Tip: A few stores online actually allow you to create your own onesies, a nice feature if you'’re looking for unique baby onesies or other baby clothing.
Price
Baby clothing prices fluctuate wildly depending on the quality and name brand recognition. I'’ve never been a huge fan of paying for the name brand but sometimes paying more is worth it.
Remember not to buy all of your baby clothes before the baby is born. Doctors are not 100% accurate in determining the sex of a child–it’’s no fun to take back all of those cute clothes after being surprised with a boy when you thought you were having a girl. Try buying gender neutral clothes if you are buying for someone who hasn'’t told you the sex of the baby.
It is good to remember that babies grow extremely fast, another reason not to buy tons of clothes before the baby is born (you could be stuck with a bunch of clothes that don'’t fit).
Babies make messes often. You might be surprised how often they spit up on their brand new clothes (babies are more prone to spit up if they are wearing your favorite outfit). If you'’re on a budget, don'’t spend all of your money on something that will be getting dirty fast.
Online Tip: Watch out for shipping prices! Some places charge as much as $5.00 per item. You can find special deals where shipping is free (though you usually have to spend a fair amount before getting these deals).
Shopping for baby clothes is extremely fun. Hopefully these tips will help you have an overall positive experience when shopping for baby clothes for yourself or for a friend.
Online Tip: Watch out, online shopping can be extremely addictive.

Joint pain is the most common symptom of arthritis so the cure for this symptom is the most sought after. Millions of people suffer from this crippling disease, and it can affect you at any age. Anyone from children to pensioners can suffer from arthritis, and pain relief is an essential part of living with it.
Sufferers will bear different degrees of pain, and can suffer from the pain on different parts of their bodies. If you suffer from arthritis in your hands then you can only imagine what the pain is like for someone who is suffering with this debilitating disease over their entire body. The pain can be dull, and in extreme cases it will be very sharp.
Arthritis is a disease that mainly attacks the joints of the bones. The worst thing is, it is still unknown what actually causes this disease. Many people have their suspicions of viruses and bacteria causing the inflammation in the joints, but nothing has been proven yet.
This inflammation of the joints can lead to destruction of the cartilage between the bones. This will cause deformity in the joints which is commonly recognised in the finger joints of a sufferer.
You will need to see your doctor for a correct diagnosis of arthritis as other diseases and conditions are similar. If you are suffering from joint pain in many areas of your body it makes it easier to diagnose. It’’s when you only suffer from pain in a few joints that it becomes difficult, and further tests are then needed to rule out any other conditions such as gout, or just an infection of the joints.
You'’ll find many drug companies online stating that they have the next wonder drug that will cure the pain of your arthritis, but in the past these companies have caused more harm than good.
The simple aspirin pill is the most effective form of pain relief for arthritis, and is by for the most commonly used relief from the pain of joint inflammation.
Many natural alternatives of pain relief are getting more attention now because of the side effects of drugs on the body. If you'’re suffering from any disease for the rest of your life then any long term drug use can and will have an effect on your body.
Herbs such as Cat’’s Claw have gotten more attention lately because of it’’s anti-inflammatory properties. This reduces the need to take any drugs, and for some patients it has become an effective part of their pain relief.
Herbs are trial and error at the moment because they have a different level of effectiveness on different people, but in the end they don'’t cost anywhere near as much as useless or dangerous drugs.
Doctors and herbalists will continue to look for ways to cure the pain and symptoms or arthritis which is only a good thing for sufferers. Maybe one day they will discover an effective cure for everyone.

Postnatal depression is a condition that happens to about 10% of women after they have a baby. It is often known as the baby blues, and includes feeling unhappy, blue, sad, and miserable. In many cases this type of depression is not even recognized because of all the normal changes that occur during and after pregnancy. However, although this is a very common problem, there are some things that can be done to treat it and help to get new moms feeling back to normal again.
Causes of Post Natal Depression
There are a variety of different reasons that you could be dealing with depression after you have a baby. Many times it is a result of changes in the hormones in the body. There are big changes that occur within the first 24 hours after having a baby and this can lead to depression. Also, thyroid levels can drop leading to depression. Some of the other factors that can end up leading to problems with the baby blues include feeling overwhelmed with taking care of a new baby, lack of sleep, stress, feelings of losing your identity, and have less control over the time that you have.
Symptoms of Postnatal Depression
There are many symptoms that can be symptoms of depression. If you happen to have any of these symptoms after pregnancy and they last for more than a couple of weeks, you could be dealing with depression.
- Very little energy
- Feelings is restlessness
- Irritability
- Loosing interest in activities
- Crying more often than usual
- Feeling overwhelmed or hopeless
- Problems staying focused
- Too much sleep or not enough
- Loss of appetite or overeating
- Withdrawing from family
- Dealing with chest pains or headaches
Simple Treatments to Try
There are a variety of treatments for post natal depression, and while some may include drug therapy or even talk therapy with a professional, there are simple things that you can do at home to combat this problem. The following are simply and alternative treatments that you may want to try.
- Get More Rest - One thing that you can try to get rid of the depression you are dealing with is to start getting a bit more rest. When you have a new baby, often it can be difficult to get the rest you need, leading to more risk of depression. Try sleeping whenever your baby does so you get the rest you need.
- Talk to a Friend or Family Member - Just talking someone can definitely be a huge help when you are dealing with the baby blues. It helps you to realize you are not alone and allows you to express your feelings too.
- Get Out More - Staying in the home all the time can actually lead to depression, so you need to get out more. Go out with your baby and run some errands or just go for a walk around the block. It can really help.
- Join a Support Group - Joining support groups can help. There are many people out there that are also going through postnatal depression and joining a group with others who understand can be very healing and helpful for you.
- Try Baby Massage - Consider trying baby massage by taking a class so you can learn how to do it. This is a great way that you can learn to better relate to your baby and you'’ll begin feeling better too.
- Eat Foods with Omega 3s - If you'’re going through post natal depression, chances are that you are low on fatty acids in your body, which can lead to depression. So, start eating foods that have omega 3s in them, such as seafood and fish.

Statistics also show nearly one third of American women report being exposed to some type of abuse at the hands of the significant other in their committed relationships.
In reality, one out of every three is a conservative figure, since the majority of abuse is never reported. These harsh statistics tell us that men (and women) are abusing the very people they say they love, which makes no rational or relational sense at all.
As if divorce and abuse were not enough, individuals are descending farther into addictive behaviors. We'’re not only divorcing ourselves from others; through these behaviors we are also divorcing ourselves from ourselves.
We'’re not only abusing and being abused by others, we'’re also abusing ourselves. Research indicates approximately 10% of the population is addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. The National Institute on Drug Abuse estimates the total economic cost of drug and alcohol abuse in the United States in the 90s was over $250 billion per year.
The impact of the “lesser” addictions of gambling, excessive spending, over-eating, compulsive sex, and cyber-based addictions (internet, video games, etc.) and their cost to society are too vast to even measure right now.
We'’ve developed some extremely poor habits and we obviously lack appropriate coping mechanisms.
Will you change for the better or be changed by this negative cycle?
Furthermore (Yes…there’’s more bad news!) about 10% of our population suffers from depression. Depression is the epitome of people being disconnected from themselves.
People experiencing depression, many of whom don'’t even know or acknowledge this ailment, live in negative energy which inevitably creates more negativity. Without proper intervention depressed people spiral further away from themselves and others.
The inherent nature of depression is such that those afflicted are often so focused on the negative aspects of themselves, on how bad they feel and how bad their life is, that they often miss the good when it does arrive in their lives.
Depressed people don'’t notice the beauty of a sunset, the humor of a joke or the warm smile of another. Depression completely disconnects one from one’’s true self.
It is long overdue; it’’s time to deliver the message: Marry Your Self First!
Today’’s educational system emphasizes, to the exclusion of almost everything else, the three Rs of reading, writing and arithmetic. Will these three Rs stop divorce, abuse, addiction or depression? No, of course not.
We need a far greater emphasis on the fourth R - Relationships - to make a difference in the quality of young people’’s lives and futures. Through relationship education we can and will create happy individuals equipped for successful lives.
Point is: Men and women today have not been relationally educated. Many come from broken families, and even those who come from intact families may not have had the best role models.
Today, many people unconsciously default to the media (TV, books and movies) as their primary relationship role models. You and I both know this is often the farthest thing from reality. People just don'’t know where else to turn for help.
Yes, to stop all this dysfunction and improve our relational intelligence we must all be willing to subscribe to philosophy and practice of healthy relationship choices and the skills which will support those healthy choices.
This starts with you knowing yourself first and foremost!
How? Choose to Marry Your Self First!…and you'’ll discover the following:
* Know and live your life purpose.
* Understand and utilize the Law of Attraction and the Law of Action to generate your greatest abundance and prosperity.
* Know, understand, develop and maintain personal boundaries.
* Practice your unique spirituality and live from your Higher Self.
* Utilize your support network.
* Communicate effectively in all areas of your life.
* Understand the healthy, normal stages of relationships.
* Create a relationship success template to prevent relationship dysfunction.
* Commit to ongoing personal growth.
* Develop stress, priority, and time management mechanisms.
* Accept yourself for exactly who you are, flaws and all.
When you commit to Marry Your Self First, you'’ll know who you are, what you want, and the direction of your life. You'’ll discover your unique passionate purpose and the amazing prosperity thereof, and with all that you'’ll be totally prepared to create relationship bliss.
I invite you NOW to increase your relational intelligence, and expand your relational awareness to create more powerful relationships in your life and to have the most passionate, purposeful and prosperous life you possibly

When it comes to lovemaking locations, let’’s face it, most couples confine themselves within the four walls of their bedrooms. Is it any wonder then that lovemaking becomes a bit of a routine later on? So to free your sexual spirits and be in touch again with those early, giddy days of your relationship, you should explore making love in OTHER locations of your home.
To start off this lovemaking location series, let’’s focus on that other `hot'’ place in your home - the kitchen. After you'’re through reading this article, I guarantee that you'’re not going to look at your kitchen the same way again.
How to Transform Your Kitchen to a Really `Hot Playground'’
You may not think of your own kitchen as a sexual playground but that will change soon enough. All you need is a little imagination and some easy-to-do tips to transform your kitchen from cooking area to hot, lustful area.
A Little Kitchen Makeover…
First of all, take a quick look around your kitchen, is it chaotic? As you know, the brain is your biggest sex organ and one of the easiest and fastest ways to stimulate it is by visual means. Simply put, if your kitchen is disorganized, then no thoughts of sexual pleasure will ever likely cross your mind when you venture into that room.
So, first of all, tidy up the kitchen! Store things in boxes, re-arrange the cupboards and throw anything and everything you haven'’t used in the past 2 to 3 years! If budget is not a concern, then consider re-painting your kitchen or adding a very dark color somewhere. (I had a client who once changed his entire kitchen counter to dark red granite with broken glass beads in them that gleamed especially at night. After making that change, he claims that seeing that hot, sexy counter made him want to put his lover on top of it every time!)
If you can'’t spare much for this makeover, don'’t worry; there’’s plenty other you can do without spending much. For instance, change kitchen lights to ones that can be dimmed to allow for a romantic setting. Put red candles at certain areas in the kitchen too. You an even put a small red carpet with a hot and sexy design on the floor! Whatever you think will improve the romance factor in the kitchen… just do it.
A Night of Really Noisy Pots and Pans
Now that you'’ve sexed up your kitchen, now what? Well, it’’s time to prepare for a romantic night of course!
Plan a romantic meal with your lover. Can'’t cook? Order in! A client of mine once just had pizza delivered but the table setting and romantic lights and music more than made up for his lack of cooking skills. If you CAN cook, all the better. In fact, an entree of aphrodisiacs or having an aphrodisiac-inspired menu is a great thing to carry out too.
Now dress up a bit for the occasion. We'’re not talking about donning on a suit here. Just make sure you'’re showered and smelling good. Don a shirt that’’s open to reveal your chest and you'’re good to go! (And make sure your kitchen counters are cleared of anything on top of them (more on this later…)
Now, while having your meal together, be sure to really bond with your lover. No TV, no blaring music, (no kids…), and others. Tonight, just make it all about you and her.
While having your meal, start to be naughty! Play footsie under the table. Sit beside her and run your hand up and down her thighs while you eat. In short, start building up the sexual tension!
For dessert, have something decadent like chocolate cake or ice cream with hot sauce. Share it with your lover, feeding her from your own spoon. (Be sure to dim the lights by this time! And that space on the kitchen table has been cleared…)
As you engage in more foreplay, do NOT make a move towards your bedroom. Instead, lead her on top of the kitchen table or on the kitchen counter top and make love there! Keep in mind that the height of the kitchen table and kitchen counters can help you with your lovemaking. For example, your lover on the table, you on a chair facing her, makes for excellent oral play!
Now that you know how truly hot the kitchen can be for your relationship, don'’t just make this a one-time thing… but don'’t keep a schedule either! Here’’s a tip: make sure to flirt with each other in the kitchen as much as possible. For instance, while she’’s busy peeling potatoes, make your hands busy as well by groping her a bit anywhere you want!
Kitchen Quickie Tip:
It’’s not always possible to plan out a full meal for some hot kitchen interlude. When feeling a bit naughty but don'’t have the time, simply walk into the kitchen after a shower… naked and `aroused'’ or have certain parts of you covered in whipped cream. (Of course, make sure no visitors are currently having tea with your partner!) The sight of you instantly tells your partner what exactly you have in mind and she'’ll hopefully feel the same way right away too!

Begin by placing the watch, face-down, on a soft surface (such as a towel) that will not scratch the face. Examine the rear of the casing, and locate the tab OR indentation around the edge of the cover. Using an inflexible, dull tool such as a butter knife or flathead screwdriver, gently pry the back cover off by wedging the object into the indentation or against the tab until it yields. If there is not an access tab or indentation, then hold the watch using a vise, position the tool at a point where the rear cover fits into the watch casing, and tap the tool with a rubber mallet. Use caution to avoid damage to the cover or personal injury by errant tools.
Once the battery is visible, determine whether it is being held in place by a bracket. If this is the case, carefully unscrew the bracket using the screwdriver from an eyeglass repair kit.
After the battery has been freed from any additional restraints, turn the watch over and tap it gently to encourage the battery to fall out. Try to allow the battery to fall out of the watch casing, rather than pry it out, because sensitive internal components may be damaged by tinkering tools. Keep track of all washers or gaskets that may be loosened or removed during the process of replacing the battery; it is important that they all be placed back into the watch exactly as they were intended to maintain the watch’’s function and integrity.
Place the new battery into the watch in the same orientation as the original battery. Press it carefully into place and replace any washers or brackets. Line up the rear cover, paying attention to whether the tab or recess must be lined up with a matching section of the casing. Slide the edge of the cover opposite the indentation or tab into the casing, and then firmly press over the surface of the entire rear cover until it snaps back into place.
Although this may seem like an easy process, there are several types of watches that should not be serviced by anyone other than a professional jeweler. Waterproof watches may be vacuum-sealed, so tampering with the casing will destroy their waterproofing. In addition, high-end watches (which may not even use batteries) should always be brought to a jeweler for any necessary servicing, because meddling with time pieces.

Except for the high end establishments, just about every type of restaurant these days has some form of customer self-service buffet or salad bar serving ready-to-eat foods. Even El Pollo Loco and other Mexican style restaurants allow you to pick and fill up from a choice of salsas. Asian style all-you-can-eat restaurants are another big one with many popping up in most big cities. Then there are of course the restaurants that focus entirely on buffets and salad bars.
The health and safety laws governing these displays have developed over the years to address the uniqueness of this type of set up and some of the unique hazards or risks to consumers. Noted below are most of those requirements as well as my own recommendations from years of experience inspecting restaurant buffets and salad bars:
–One obvious requirement is that all open exposed ready-to-eat food must be shielded so as to block a direct line between the customer’’s mouth and the food on display. This shield is generally known as a sneeze guard for the larger displays of food and is usually glass or transparent plastic, angled above the food enough to block possible contamination coming from a customer’’s mouth (saliva from sneezing, coughing, talking, etc.). The shield can also take the form of a container with a tight fitting securely attached lid, normally with hinges. If there is no evidence of a shield or lid then the display is most likely not approved and should be avoided.
–A separate utensil with a handle is required for each food displayed for self-service. No customer is allowed to touch any of the exposed food with their hands.
–There must be clean plates and other tableware at or adjacent to the buffet or salad bar and customers should be reminded, or notified if need be, that only clean tableware is to be used when returning to the buffet.
–The proper temperatures must be maintained. The food is usually displayed on ice (and actually should be buried in ice), or the containers are sitting either in a refrigerated unit or warmer, or the food is sitting under a heating lamp. Look for steam coming from the warmer or steam table and even the food itself. Do not trust a chafing dish for long term holding (more than 2 hours) of foods. You will generally only see chafing dishes at a temporary buffet setting. They are large shallow metal platters with one or two canned gas lighted flames underneath, attempting to keep the food warm. They are maybe good for short periods of time only, and are not to be trusted or definitely not approved for a more permanent buffet setting. Heat lamps usually fall into this same category. They also are not the best means of maintaining hot holding temperatures for long period of times.
–Employees should be constantly monitoring and maintaining the buffet or salad bar. They should be doing everything from replenishing it to cleaning and checking temperatures frequently.
–No sulfites or sulfiting agents. Sulfites used to be a common preserving agent especially in fruits, maintaining a fresh appearance. Most if not all states prohibit any food facility from applying sulfating agents to fresh fruits and vegetables intended for raw consumption, or to any potentially hazardous foods. Sulfites are still allowed on fruits and vegetables not sold in the raw state, such as dried fruits and grapes used for wine.
–Absolutely no flies or other types of vermin (cockroaches, rodents) can be present. Contrary to what you may have heard, there is no acceptable number or amount of vermin allowed in a food facility. Vermin are strictly illegal in all areas of the establishment. They harbor and can transmit dangerous microorganisms as well as general filth to your food and should not be tolerated.
– No leaking and pooling waste water on the floor area, either from melting ice, or the refrigeration or warmer unit.
–Most foods should have a label identifying the common name of the food, sauce, dressing, condiments etc.
Learning the requirements and potential hazards of a buffet or salad bar is just good consumer awareness and can give you the advantage in preventing a serious food borne illness.

Colon health is many times overlooked. More importantly, the digestive system is the central location for many cancers and other fatal diseases. The colon being part of the digestive system, is the body’’s way of flushing out waste and toxins.
For those with constipation, it is essential to for your body to clean out. If your body does not rid itself of waste, you can suffer from poisoning. Things such as enemas, certain foods, or even massage can help cure this problem. Exercise can even help constipation. Many doctors suggest having a colonoscopy, especially when you are in your fifties. Believe it or not, colon cancer is second to heart disease in fatal diseases. Having this procedure done enables the doctor to literally look at your colon. Doing this they can see what condition your colon is in, as well as if there are any potential problems. Yet, it is still important to maintain a healthy colon on your own.
One way to ensure this is by eating certain foods. The food you eat makes a large difference in your health. A diet high in fiber is healthy for the colon. Foods such as oats, grains, vegetables and fruits are rich in fiber. Too much fiber can be harmful as well. Make sure to balance out your diet with fibrous foods and also foods that are easier to digest.
Not taking proper care of the colon can effect other regions of the body. If the colon is stopped up, it can effect your nervous system, stomach, lungs even skin. It is important to maintain your colon’’s health.
One concern that many face is Candida Albicans. This is a yeast fungus in the colon. It occurs when the body is unbalanced and has low immunity. Symptoms are weakness, weight gain, weight loss, or allergic reactions to food. A way to help prevent Candida Albicans is by eating and taking probiotics. Probiotics are the enzymes found in yogurt that help your body fight bacteria.
A question many people have about regular colon check ups is if it is safe or not? Many people fear that a colonoscopy can damage the colon. This is not true. Many times this procedure will lubricate and help the colon work even better. Also, a doctor can cleanse the colon with acid/alkaline. This is actually a helpful bacteria that thrives and keeps harmful bacteria down.
Are there holistic options for colon health? Yes there is! One such method is colon hydrotherapy. This gently cleanses the colon by flushing it with warm water. Having this done can cure the body of several ailments such as, digestive disorders, fatigue among others. How can it cure with just water?
The water will flush out any toxins that cause other harmful aliments to the body.
Taking care of your colon is very important for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Keeping it healthy will increase your level energy and stamina. A cleansed colon is not only healthy, but will make your body feel better inside and out.

We live in a society dedicated to spending money. If you'’re determined to control your spending, but you are surrounded by people who spend a lot of money, you have a challenge. It can be difficult not to spend when others are spending. Spending is kind of contagious, in a way.
This is particularly difficult if you eat lunch with coworkers. You may enjoy their company, and want to eat with them, but if they'’re constantly going to restaurants while you bring your lunch from home, you feel torn. You want to eat with your friends, but you don'’t want to spend the money to eat in a restaurant.
You may feel that refusing to spend money makes you look poor. In our society, there is a reluctance to say, “I can'’t afford it.” Many times, when we just say, “I don'’t want to spend the money,” we feel people think that we'’re broke. Our egos get caught up in this situation and we want to prove we can afford it. So we spend the money, whether we can afford it or not.
There are a couple of things to understand and realize in this situation. First, your friends probably do not interpret “I don'’t want to spend the money” as a statement that you'’re broke. They probably take it at face value. But second, it doesn'’t matter what they think. You are not obligated to spend money you don'’t want to spend, just because someone else is spending money. They'’re spending their money; you'’re making your own choices about your money.
Practice saying, “I would rather keep my money in my wallet.” If you feel you need an explanation beyond that, tell people you'’re saving for something in particular. You don'’t actually have to explain your spending decisions to anyone, but if you feel you need to, explain that you'’re spending on certain things and not spending on certain things, to achieve your financial goals.
You are not a bad person if you don'’t spend money. In fact, most people will actually admire and respect your ability to save your money and reach your financial goals. They might not express that respect, but that’’s not your problem.
One of the best things you can do to control your finances and reach your dreams is to keep track of your spending. You may already know that by writing down what you spend, you have a better idea of where your money goes. This helps you focus your spending on things that matter.
It’’s also a good idea to track what you would spend when others spend. For instance, if you eat lunch with coworkers and they bring back restaurant food while you eat food from home, write down how much you would have spent on lunch. If everyone goes out for coffee and you get water or stay in your office, how much would you have spent?
Keep a record of your savings. When you begin to rack up huge savings over the course of a few months, you'’ll have even more incentive to keep your money in your wallet unless you'’re the one who wants to spend it.
